For the Macintosh, save images as indexed color (256
color)
images in .tifor .pct formats. For Windows,
save
images as .tif, .jpg, or .gif files.
1.
Open PowerPoint to the presentation you want to
insert images into.
2.
Navigate to the slide where you want to insert an
image
3.
From the "Insert" menu choose
"Picture"
or "Picture/From File..."
4.
Find the file with the dialog box, select the file name,
and click the "Insert"
button.
5.
When you click on the image to resize it, handles will
appear on the corners
of the image. Hold the "Shift" key down while you press your
mouse
button down over a handle. This will allow you to maintain the
height/width
proportions as you resize the image. Drag the handle diagonally to
enlarge
or reduce the image.
